The CAP 2030 is a plan that will guide Dublin toward a greener future and provide a roadmap to reach carbon neutrality by 2045. The CAP 2030 lays out a set of strategies and measures that will guide Dublin toward reaching its carbon emission reduction goals. The keystone strategy is to provide 100% carbon-free and renewable electricity to every electricity user in Dublin through East Bay Community Energy. The other four strategies tackle climate action through building energy efficiency, transportation, land use, waste management, and municipal leadership.
