Inspire305 powered by United Way of Miami-Dade is activating our networks and propelling change by giving back the best way we know how. Together. We invite you to join us for an exclusive, safe and socially distant opportunity to give back with 2019 Grand Innovator, Girls Inc. of Greater Miami, previously Strong Girls, Inc. Volunteers can lend a hand (or two) to build and revitalize the student garden at Santa Clara Elementary. Volunteers can select from two socially distanced shifts to plant, paint, and weed what will become an edible garden. Get ready to plant the seeds of the future and give back! Shift A: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Shift B: 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. United Way of Miami-Dade continues to monitor and evaluate the Covid-19 pandemic. We continue to take necessary measures to protect our volunteers' health and well-being, such as onsite temperature taking and health forms. United Way staff will update you regarding the status of this volunteer opportunity should anything change. About Strong Girls Inc. Strong Girls Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers a free after school programing designed to break the cycle of poverty by providing young girls the skills and support needed to stay focused on learning. Strong Girls operates in Title 1 schools and trains teachers to implement its evidence-based Social Emotional Learning curriculum during critical after school hours. The organization was the winner of the 2019 Inspire305 1st place Grand Innovator award for their work in our community.
