Under the direction of the General Manager and Building Engineer, this position is responsible for the care and upkeep of a Condominium High Rise facility located in Downtown Phoenix. Maintenance employee must be able to perform ‘handy man’ services and be willing to learn on the job, as well as be a creative problem solver who enjoys working with a variety of people. As a member of the team you will: * Operating light machinery * Perform drywall/plaster and painting repairs as necessary * Assist Building engineer in preventative maintenance measures *Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies *Perform other maintenance duties as requested *Display effective written and oral communication skills *Work well others, Be a self-starter, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision *Have the ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures *Ideal candidate will have 1 year maintenance experience, preferably in a high rise setting but not necessary. Hours of this position are Tuesday – Saturday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM but flexible schedule preferred to meet building needs. We offer a starting salary of $15.00 per hour with a review in 90 days, paid vacation, holidays and sick time. Insurance benefits available after 90 days from hire.
