Live on-site Handyman

We are seeking a reliable handyman for two apartment complexes in Vancouver area. This is a live onsite position, if you can not live onsite please do not apply. We will assign you approximately 25 hours work per week for the first 3 months for evaluation. We will assign more hours work to you after evaluation period. Responsibilities • upkeeping of landscape and general exterior image of the property • Diagnose and perform routine maintenance repair • Turn over units as they vacate • Painting • Basic plumbing • Basic electric • Perform after hour emergency maintenance • Monitor and maintain building • Appliance repair (fridge, stove, dishwasher.....) This position requires: • REQUIRED TO LIVE ONSITE AFTER PERFORMANCE EVALUATION. • Has own basic power hand tools • Has own vehicle and valid driver’s license • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds variable distances. • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations. • Punctual, good work attitude • Fair verbal communication in English. • Required to undergo background screen • Positive attitude to learn new repair knowledge • Working hours: Tuesday - Saturday at least 5 hours between 9am - 5:30pm Benefit for live on site: • provided 1-bedroom unit with 10% Rent discount • Paid water, sewer, garbage
