Description

Irrigation Division Lead: The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the troubleshooting and repairing of all types of irrigation systems. • Good knowledge of all types of irrigation controllers, valves, sprinkler heads and parts. • Wire locating and troubleshooting skills. • Irrigation installation skills. • Follow a predetermined schedule in the order given. • Demonstrate competent operation and maintenance of assigned service equipment, truck and trailer. • Assist customers with irrigation requests and/or concerns per performance standards. Qualifications: • Must have a positive attitude, patience and good follow-through skills. • A valid Class D Driver’s License. • Health card (or ability to obtain one). • Clean driving record. (no major offenses in the past 3 years). • Reliable transportation to work every day, getting to the shop on time and ready to work. • Must have working knowledge of English enough to read, write, speak and understand oral and written information. • Must be organized and have the ability to clearly document all work performed. • Must have good mechanical aptitude and have the ability to read an irrigation plan/map. • Always operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner. • You must be willing and able to lift 50+ pounds frequently carrying objects and/or tools. • You must be willing and able to walk or stand to a significant degree on rough terrain for long periods of time. • Ability to work long hours during Spring/Summer/Fall months. Hourly Pay Rate: $25 plus/hr.
