Please apply on our website or follow the link below:   OBRC is a member-owned, cooperative corporation in charge of picking up and processing nearly 100% of all containers redeemed in Oregon. This entire process is handled by participating beverage distributors and retailers at no cost to the taxpayer. We pick up from over 2,700 retailers and recycle millions of containers a day.   GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Operate a tractor-trailer Monday - Friday on a specific route in the Coos Bay area to service accounts in handling the transport for our product and service. OBRC picks up returned containers at stores across Oregon and reconciles deposits on behalf of distributors.   SKILL REQUIREMENTS Valid Class A CDL and good driving record. Pre-employment DOT drug screen required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, throughout the day. General knowledge of air brakes systems and CDL tractor-trailer equipment.   ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS Maintain personal appearance consistent with company expectations. Arrive on time for every scheduled workday. Conduct yourself in a professional manner in both attitude and appearance. Perform pre-trip inspections on tractor and trailer. Safely and courteously operate a vehicle and all equipment, including pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates, dock plates, load locks, etc. Get to know our product information and processes. Proper preparation of paperwork that is accurate and legible.
