Tetherow Resort is looking for Volunteer Player Assistants! Why Tetherow? Do you love the game of golf? Have you wanted to play the Tetherow course and not had the opportunity? Do you have some time to help out our course services/golf team in exchange for free rounds of golf at Tetherow? If yes, keep reading! Who you are… • You are energetic, inspiring and adventurous • You know the rules of golf • You have previous golf Player Assistant, Starter, or Marshal experience • You are diplomatic and are able to problem solve and address concerns in a clear, professional manner • You have excellent verbal communication skills • You enjoy going above and beyond and have an enthusiastic, outgoing attitude and personality • You are organized and able to function well in a busy environment where the priorities are changing What you’ll do… • Be the on-course customer service specialist for the facility • Provide welcoming “first contact” with each customer or groups of customers and ensure they have an enjoyable experience • Make sure all equipment: radio, cart, etc. are working correctly • Ensure golfers start at their scheduled tee time and answer questions on the #1 tee box • Assist customers with any on-course problems • Keep players on the pre-determined pace-of-play schedule and report any problems to the golf shop/management • Enforce facility rules and assist with course etiquette *This is a volunteer position; volunteers are not considered regular Tetherow employees and are not eligible to earn pay or benefits.
