Looking for Political Lyricist/Poet to Collaborate With

I am a song writer who struggles with lyrics. I want to make somewhat-political music ("leftist" principals). The music genre is up in the air, but I work within bluegrass/folk/acoustic as well as rock genres (punk, funk, dance, etc). So I am looking for a poet or lyrics writer to help me write, or to produce lyrics for the music I write (or that I could write to). Topics and themes include: feminism, queer rights, racism, systemic oppression, anarchist/socialist thought, etc. Basically hoping to raise awareness on issues we face everyday. I am looking to make provocative music. Unfortunately, every time I try to write lyrics, they come out corny as all hell. So I am looking for someone with a silver tongue, quick mind, and voracious pen. If you happen to sing, that wouldn't hurt. But is not a requirement. I am working putting together both a folk/punk band as well as a full rock band, with guitar, bass, drums, brass, and keys. (separate projects, but writers welcome to assist with either). Heavy-drug users or big time drinkers discouraged. Here to focus on music, not all the trappings of the industry...
