American Pool is a commercial aquatics company managing over 500 facilities in the Maryland, DC and Virginia area. We have several seasonal positions that operate from March - May (with the potential for future opportunities for candidates that excel). These positions are labor intensive and require a valid driver's license for application. Position Description: Candidates are responsible for the cleaning of drained aquatic facilities, preparing for the spring use of the pool facility. Includes but is not limited to cleaning of empty pool shells, furniture moving and organization, and cleaning / removal of debris. Candidates will be asked to operate industrial cleaning equipment, move and carry heavy materials (over 40 lbs), utilize cleaning agents and chemicals, and install facility hardware. Candidates should be able to handle multiple tasks and work in small groups for project completion. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with team members and superiors on job completion and progress. Candidates will be trained on job practices, but previous experience with power washers, hand tools and lifting practices is ideal. This position is seasonal and operates from March - May. Hires that are able to demonstrate knowledge and potential for growth within the company, may be offered additional positions after the seasonal operating schedule. Pay for this job is based on job completion and varies based on workload handled on a daily basis.
