Description
This position will be responsible for prioritizing and directing mechanical and electrical work to be performed on manufacturing machinery, and facility maintenance. In this role, will also train employees and communicate with management on daily activities.
Job Description/Requirements
· Plan and schedule jobs and projects with the Maintenance Manager.
· Assist Maintenance Manager with inventory control of parts and supplies.
· Communicate with other departments and technicians to establish good workflow.
· Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with the plant Safety Program.
· Operate the Maintenance Department within the assigned monthly budget.
· Prioritize and assign work orders accordingly.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook, etc.).
· Excellent knowledge of electrical, general maintenance, HVAC knowledge, and repair skills.
· Experience working with a Preventive Maintenance program.
· Strong troubleshooting abilities.
Job Site Location/City: Jessup, MD
Shift/Hours: 2nd shift
Starting pay rate: 22/hr.
HVAC certification (preferred but no essential)
