SOD STORE ASSISTANT WANTED Easton Sod Farms is seeking to hire a motivated Sod Store Assistant responsible for performing daily tasks such as loading customers with sod, loading customers with bulk goods, loading sod trucks with pallets, maintenance of loader, general sod yard maintenance such as mowing, and assisting store manager with customer sales. Duties include but are not limited to: • General preventative maintenance of equipment • Keeping the sod yard and barns clean • Performs manual work to include stacking sod and stacking pallets • Assist with customer sales including answering phones and assisting with store sales • Communicating effectively with farm managers, co-workers, and customers • Demonstrating a high standard in customer service and professionalism • General knowledge of customer service sales equipment such as a credit card machine • General knowledge of complex power equipment such as farm type tractors with attached bat-wing mowers, front end loaders, various types of trucks and trailers, weed eaters, chainsaws and other grounds maintenance/farm equipment Requirements: • Must have forklift experience • Must be able to lift 50lbs. • Must be hardworking and reliable, self-motivated, willingness to get the job done and work independently.
