Description
The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible by reporting to the Property Managers and Owners in all areas for multiple commercial and residential properties including 100+ unit apartment community. Specific duties will be assigned by the Property Managers and/or Owners.
General areas of responsibility:
On-site maintenance functions.
Physical condition of the properties.
Upholding all company policies, goals, and values.
Maintain a clean driving record and be able to provide a copy of your motor vehicle report.
Be on call on a routine rotating basis.
Essential Duties:
The ability to handle drywall repair, carpentry repair, some plumbing, some electrical, and general maintenance skills.
Reports to the Property Managers to perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
Make available apartments ready for move-in.
Be able to work unsupervised and follow through on all work orders.
Communicate on a daily basis with Property Managers regarding status of work orders, maintenance problems, etc.
Assist manager/owners on controlling expenses.
Provide guidance to Maintenance Technician in conjunction with Property Managers.
Follow-up on service requests to assure the highest quality customer satisfaction, and all other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years maintenance experience with Commercial and Residential properties.

General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service.
Possess and continually improve the technical skills necessary to perform assigned maintenance.
