Number of openings: 1 Fulltime, Year Round Location: A Line- Old Station Plant Working Shift: Night Shift Hours & Work Days: 4:00pm – 12:30am, Monday - Friday; Hours and/or Shifts may vary. Qualifications: • Must be able to work in cross functional Stemilt teams. • Knowledge of fruit grade, sizes, varieties, packs, machinery and supplies. • Ability to terminate or promote employees in job functions. • Knowledge of personnel management, hiring procedures and Stemilt policies. • Completion of Stemilt Growers, LLC Safety program. • Ability to develop and work within budget limitations. • Strong computer background (Oracle and MS office). • Excellent verbal and written communication and personnel interactive skills. • Ability to perform detailed functions and make quick informative decisions during high pressure. • 2 years college education or equivalent experience desired. • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not required. Responsibilities / Duties: • Supervise, train, and hire personnel. • Discipline employees when needed. • Complete appropriate administrative paperwork. • Resolve problems as they arise. • Monitor Quality Control and Production and packing supplies. • Complete scheduling according to other department requirements. • Read running orders and give instructions. • Quality Control boxes for color, grade, wax and carton. • Good communication with logistics, managers, mechanics, growers and vendors. • Maintain focus on goals and objectives for self and staff. • Maintain and develop standard operating procedures. • Be an example and advocate of the Stemilt Handbook and Stemilt Safety programs. • This position can encompass other than the specified duties listed above.
