Skilled Carpenter Needed to Measure + Install Custom Window Treatment

We are your locally owned custom window treatment company and we need your skills to measure and install our product. You will be on the road all over the DC Metro Area, working in our customers' homes, providing a white-glove service. We understand you may have ZERO window treatment experience -- and that is OKAY. We will teach you the basics of window coverings and provide in-depth instruction for installation. Our employees really enjoy working together, but we also appreciate the freedom of not working from a desk all day. With us, your office will be on the road. Your days will be spent measuring and installing -- not confined. We understand that this takes a special kind of person and it is imperative that your self-sufficiency allows you to prosper while working independently. We also appreciate flexibility -- as long as you're able to work the required number of hours, your days may be flexible. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform in-home measurements and installations of roller/solar shades, Roman shades, and drapery, as well as wooden blinds and more • Ability to learn motorization installation and programming techniques with complex motorized products • Provide our customers with a world-class experience throughout each measure and install appointment • Leave a positive lasting impression with our customers by demonstrating how to use the product before leaving the job site •Partner closely with our Design Consultants to ensure our customers have a seamless end-to-end experience • Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective solutions to challenges and obstacles pertaining to the measurement and installation of window treatments WHO WILL WORK BEST WITH US: Self-starters with the ability to think outside the box and with insane attention to detail and who possess amazing customer service skills and positivity will THRIVE. ICING ON THE CAKE: A van or a large vehicle that is capable of safely storing our product while you work and the ability to receive a high volume of packages daily is a PLUS, but definitely not a requirement.
