Denver based Truck Equipment Company is looking to fill Shop Assistant position. Immediate Opening Available! Responsible for inspecting paint condition on newly completed trucks prior to delivery, completing minor paint repairs as needed, and applying conspicuity tape and misc. decals. It is also the responsibility of this position to assist the shop with a variety of needs, including: moving equipment in the yard, assisting the shop with setting equipment onto trucks for installation, assisting with the detail process on newly completed units, organization of yard inventory (chassis & equipment), and off-loading equipment deliveries. Requirements: Basic paint experience required. Please note: we are not a high-end body shop, so the extent of paint work we complete is limited to repairing minor flaws in equipment, painting over areas that have been welded, and other minor projects such as painting fabricated brackets, sanding, buffing paint, applying decals, etc. Ability to blend into existing paint would be helpful as well. Forklift experience required. Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure are a must. Must be able to lift, bend and reach. This is a physically demanding position at times, so please don't apply if this doesn't sound like it will work for you. At times you will be required to work in inclement weather.
