As a Delivery Helper, you will assist the Driver in delivering / Installing Major Appliances to the customer, which includes loading & unloading, ensuring delivery of members merchandise and installing it & quick testing. *A background and understanding of basic installations of common household appliances, refrigerators, washer/dryers, ranges, etc. are helpful but not required! *A successful candidate will possess the following: Appliance product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn and GREAT communication and customer service skills. *Maintain a zero percentage of appliance damage and customer property damage *Morning pre-calls and spot inspections of merchandise for damage before loading the truck is a must. *Maintain a high customer service satisfaction score *Accurately complete daily route paper work and responsible for all return merchandise at the end of the day *Complete all end of day procedures such as unloading the truck and labeling products brought in as returns *Vehicle fluid /Air checks are performed daily (Oil, Water, Air, Etc) Job Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Have a valid Class E license and clean driving record Knowledge and experience using basic hand tools Must be able to move major appliances with a hand dolly Previous experience in the Home Delivery or the Moving Industry Helpful. Owning a basic set of hand tools required. Ability to remain flexible and adaptable in a fast pace environment working safely within a time schedule Must be able to pass a background screening, pre-employment drug screening, and physical capability test Professional and personal references are required.
