Acoustic Guitar Singer Just moved from Denver to Manitou and I’m looking to form a Duet to perform this summer and beyond. I play Acoustic Guitar and Sing. Looking for someone that can Sing and harmonize well and also plays an instrument. Ideally acoustic guitar but Bass, keys or other string instrument could work as well. I tend to play Classic Rock, but love to learn newer songs as well and I’m open to a wide variety. I plan to practice once a week in addition to any gigs which would be 1 or 2 a month. I want to share a bit about me and my style because I have learned it’s better to have a common vision before attempting to work together. I’m a young 50 male that loves to have fun. I have a double Bose PA setup and practice space and I’m willing to practice at your place if desired to share travel. I like to practice once a week and that is a fun event for me (not work). Few beers, play for a while playing, short break, play some more. IF… you are restricted to a 90 minute practice, think of it as work, and have to be done by 9, we are probably not a good fit. I know it is important to “practice” on your own to get your parts down, but it is even more important to practice together if you ever want to be super tight, which I do. A bit about you. Any age as long as you can pull off a look for the stage, voice is strong, mature enough to be dependable and have dependable gear, immature enough to be fun. Male or Female. Drinks and even 420 is fine as long as it is never a problem with your skills or attitude. Having fun at this is important for sure, but just know your limits. In addition to being solid with your instrument, you must be able to easily harmonize. Open to try lots of musical ideas. If you like originals, that’s cool too and we can even sneak on or two in on a gig as long as we don’t lose the crowd. Sorry for the long post.
