An upscale Dog Day Camp and Hotel Facility in Huntington Beach is looking for hard working people with flexible schedules for Kennel Attendant/Doggy Daycare Attendant position. We are seeking reliable candidates that are motivated, energetic, team players, work well with others and LOVE Dogs. Our business is caring for and providing a safe, secure, healthy, happy and fun environment for each and every one of our guests. We are a 7day/365 facility and would like to add team members that have flexibility with their schedules that could workday, evening and weekend shifts. Weekends and holidays are some of our busiest times so you must be available to work these times when needed. Job Description / Responsibilities: * Supervising large dogs; small dogs in a pack like environment. * Helping to supervise and maintain order in large play groups of active dogs. * Providing food and water for all boarding dogs. * Cleaning and disinfecting all dog suites, tubs, floors, walls, and equipment. * Scooping and sanitizing playgrounds and playground equipment. * General facility sanitation and maintenance (spraying, vacuuming, mopping, etc) * Cleaning and picking up after dogs. Required Skills: * MUST LOVE DOGS! * A minimum of 1 year experience working in an open play dog daycare environment is REQUIRED. * A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Kennel Attendant is preffered. * A minimum of 1 year experience working directly with animal's is preffered. * Must be able to stoop and bend, physically fit, stand for long periods at a time, walking dogs, bending over to pick up after dogs, lifting mop buckets and able to lift at least 40lbs. * Comfortable and confident handling and controlling dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds - both on leash and in a group environment. * Availability on weekends & holidays is required. * Able to multi-task in a busy, high energy environment * Reliable transportation * Must be comfortable handling dogs. * Must be comfortable cleaning up after dogs. * Must be a team player with co-workers. * High school or GED equivalent required.
