Local Distribution Company is seeking multiple Production Operators for an immediate long-term position in Danville, VA. Multiple shifts available!!! This company is "Beating the competition 1 call at a time". $11.00/hr. Production Workers & Packaging Associates, Temp to Hire. Essential duties and responsibilities: • Feed product into machines and stack product pulled from conveyor belts • Examine and inspect products and packaging to ensure specifications • Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines • Maintaining a clean and orderly work area. • Adhere to all company safety, security, and attendance policies and procedures Qualification requirements: • Related work experience in a manufacturing facility • Read, write, communicate effectively and comprehend English • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and schedule work independently • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and use Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) Physical demands and abilities: • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time • Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights Interested please call us at 434-237-0777 Apply and join the fun at one of the leading distribution companies in Danville, VA!
