Experienced Painter Needed $25/hr DOE on first project

Koehler Customs is looking for a part-time experienced painter to work on the weekends starting in April 2021 with the potential to grow into a full-time position in the future. Experience: -At least 3 years of exterior painting experience required with 2 references -Experience with high-ladder work REQUIRED -Experience with safety harness and know how to use all safety equipment properly -Proficiency with painting tools and equipment (paint sprayer/pump) is required -Handyman/carpentry experience preferred but not required Painter Job Responsibilities: -Applies various finishes to buildings, rooms, or other structures, including primers or sealers -Prepares, cleans, and tapes all jobsites -Removes old paint coating, if necessary -Cleans up worksite debris Work hours: Work up to 3 weekends out of the month. Guaranteed 1 weekend off in a month. Friday: 5pm to 8pm Saturday/Sunday: 8am to 6pm or occasionally later until the job is finished. Approximately 40-50 hours a month in the first year. Painter Qualifications/Skills: -Maintains professional appearance and attitude around workers and customers -No drugs or alcohol on the job -Ability to communicate in English -Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers -Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines -Attentive to detail is a must and always alert to ensure safety -Flexible weekend schedule Rate of pay: $17.50/hr to $25.00/hr depending on experience on the first project (trial period) and will be increased depending on performance and efficiency for future jobs.
