7 month old unsexed Green cheek Conure. (One of his parents was a turquoise GCC.) I assume it is male from how he acts, but that's just going on my experience with other birds/GCC. Rehome fee 475, with cage 500. (Cage cost me 100). This guy is a seriously amazing bird, and extremely friendly. He usually only goes in one or two places outside of his cage, and cant be kept in his cage all day. If you think he'd need to be in his cage most of the day he wont be the bird for you. (He will cry if he is left alone too long.) Although as long as he can see you he can be in his cage or anywhere else in the house, he just will cry for a while before calming down if he's left alone (because he is a baby). Mostly he wants to be on someone's shoulder. He loves to eat green veggies, apples, and bananas. He's not suppose to have any, but If you want to get him to like you more give him a tiny piece of potato chip. He will step up and eventually let you just grab him if you need to. He seems to like men immediately but is weary of women. He still has grown to like the women who have seen him, but it took more time than the men. If you have a beard or facial hair, he will probably love you right away. I got him earlier than I was supposed to from a breeder because another bird ate his toenail off. It's not fully grown back, but it looks like it will in a few months? His wings are clipped so he cant fly very far and he can hardly fly up at all. He usually just walks on the ground until he finds a way to hop up things. He can fly horizontally for a short time, and fly downwards if he gets scared. I'm having to rehome him because I'm losing my home, having to move and cant keep him. He is generally a very easy pet and very calm. He will talk sometimes, but only every few days and I dont know what he is saying. If you have any questions, now or even after you adopt him just message me, thanks!
