Now hiring fertilizer workers! A local company in Eugene that manufactures fertilizer is hiring production workers to join their growing team. The job will consist of a variety of tasks, depending on the department, involving the use of chain hoists, forklifts and a wheeled cart/loader to stage, and prep and load raw materials into the mix line. Candidates will operate manual bagging equipment for other products such as per-lite and worm castings. Position will require maintaining a well-organized and clean production area is a must have to efficient soil mixing. This position does not require a pre-employment drug test. Pay: $14/hour to start. $15/hour for graveyard shift. Company does offer 100% paid medical and vision insurance, and 50% dental. Shift: Openings on Day, Swing, and Graveyard, Monday through Friday. All positions and shifts require a willingness to work over time. Work Environment: the fertilizer manufacturing process creates a lot of dust, and is dirty work.
