Temp to Hire Position: 30-day seasonal probation period Shifts: varies Ecommerce DC:7:00am – 5:30pm; alternating days (e.g. Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat or Tues, Thurs, Sun.) or 6:00pm-12am; Monday-Saturday; Full-time schedule; Must be flexible to work weekends. Phone interviews starting Friday, February 26th In-person interviews starting Wednesday, March 10th from 1pm-3pm Apply at: SUMMARY: The following is a brief description of responsibilities to be performed by the Warehouse Worker I. The Warehouse Worker I is responsible for working the various functions of but not limited to all inbound, outbound, and processing departments of the Distribution Center. This position will not be limited to just those responsibilities described below: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sensoring, hanging, and ticketing of shoes/garments / accessories / flat goods. Locate, pick, inspect, count and pack garments/items for assigned stores or direct to customer. Cartons must be sealed properly. Accurately locate product into designated locations. Assure accurate quantities are packed for assigned stores. Question and resolve discrepancies (overages & shortages) as required. Basic functionality skill of RF equipment. Hanging of shoes. Ability to introduce product into various material handling equipment. Ability to count and scan locations for product accuracy. Ticketing of shoes/garments / accessories / flat goods. Ability to recognize the difference in sensor, cable types, ticket types, and hanger types. Achieve and maintain minimum standards of performance and accuracy. Load garments by size scale in totes or on trolleys. Identify defects in workmanship and or color / size of garments. Work on Special Projects, as needed. Perform daily housekeeping requirements, in assigned area. Perform daily processing tasks in compliance with company safety and operational standards. Ability to use basic WMS functionality. Individual must possess basic math and counting skills OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to remain flexible, re-prioritize, and respond to changing demands; Independent, self-motivated, team player; Volunteers willingly for additional responsibilities; Remains open and adaptable to change and new challenges for growth; Evaluates current methods and suggests alternatives and/or improvement when applicable; Must be punctual and work planned schedule; Must maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to stand for an extended time, bend, lift, pull, and push light to medium weight. Perform proper lifting techniques as required. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in a warehouse setting. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as standard warehouse computer systems, and machinery. POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a full-time position, Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, anywhere from 5am-1130pm with the possibility of working weekends. Weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
