Excavation Laborer

Description

Established excavation company interested in interviewing experienced excavation laborers with underground utility construction experience for a full-time laborer position. Candidate will be expected to perform laborer duties as well as operate equipment. Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are musts; CDL-A preferred. Must be experienced in the following: Qualifications: • Ability to read grade elevation stakes • Ability to operate mini excavator, skid loader, and backhoe • Good people/communication skills required • Detailed workmanship required on all projects • Must be able to work nights and weekends, if necessary • Must be able to work in all weather conditions • Must be able to carry 75-80 lbs., to include an extension ladder • Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb and lift throughout the work shift • This position requires significant time doing manual labor functions, walking on uneven ground, working in tight spaces and in general, being overall physically demanding • Must have high school diploma or equivalent • Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus • Must pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle check • Must be authorized to work in the United States Benefits: • Competitive wage • Healthcare • Paid Holidays and Vacation • 401k (with company match) All potential employees must pass a background check.
