Golden Kennel LLC on 9203 Weatherly Road, Brooksville Animal took control of 138 dogs, found 11 puppies dead and 8 sick. I posted about this kennel on a regular in the past. I am so happy the animals are getting help. Thank you animal control!! The kennel operator, 34-year-old Jian Karlos Ortiz Mendez, was arrested and charged with 11 counts of aggravated animal cruelty. His bond was set at $23,000
