DRF will assist in sponsorship for your Plumbing Apprentice Card, support you on your journey to become a Licensed Plumber and cover the cost of your backflow prevention certification. The Irrigation Technician / Service Technician is responsible for installation and service of commercial irrigation systems. Responsibilities of the Irrigation Technician include: • Repair and replace sprinkler heads, water lines, pumps and valves • Install commercial irrigation systems • Oversee sprinkler system preventive maintenance • Solve system problems: leaks, broken heads and system concerns • Mentor new team members on the irrigation crew • Will train for residential service plumbing • Access to a work vehicle - pick up vehicle at 1 of 4 locations Requirements: • 2 years commercial irrigation experience - preferred • Will train motivated individuals with no experience • Valid driver’s license • Must be able to lift 50lbs., stand, crouch, bend and lift for much of the day.
