The Lawn Mowing Crew Member is a critical part of the team in helping provide outstanding service to our clients. Lawn Mowing Crew Member essential job functions are: • Mow grass using commercial mowing equipment • Properly mixing 2 cycle gas • Edge curbs and walks using a weed-eater or stick-edger • Bed and pavement weed control • Cleanup of property using a backpack blower • Basic knowledge of touch up pruning • Cleanup of beds during spring operations • Apply mulch to landscape beds • Fall cleanup of leaves, perennials and debris. • Load/Unload equipment onto trucks and trailers • Secure equipment for transport to properties • Change mower blades • Remove daily debris trucks and trailers • Clean trucks & equipment Requirements: • Must be able to work full time • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Some experience in lawn care helpful • Must report to our facility in Indianapolis on a daily basis • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) • 18 years of age or older • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds • Safely perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of various landscaping equipment and materials, including, but not limited to backpack blowers, large containers of mulch/plant material, various sizes of lawnmowers, etc. • Safely operate hand and power equipment, including but not limited to manual and powered sawing and cutting equipment • Walk for long periods of time • Stand, bend & squat for up to 10 hours or more per day • Carry a 20-lb backpack blower/sprayer on your back Salary: $11.00 to $15.00 /hour S.E.
