Attention Grimsley High School Community. My name is Coach Chuckie Simmons and I am starting a youth football and cheer team in the Grimsley school district. The football team will be a member of the Piedmont Triad Youth Football League and broken into age groups of - 8/under, 10/under, 12/under and Flag Football. PTYFL is a member of the USA Football Heads Up Program which is very committed to safety. The young men and young ladies will get to play and cheer against their friends who already members and established like; Northwest Guilford, Northeast Guilford, Southeast Guilford, Northern Guilford and Rockingham County. My goal for the 2021 season is to start a board of directors team that is willing to be a part of a great community project. I am also looking for volunteer coaches, parents and sponsors. I have already met with the Grimsley High School Head Football Coach and along with his staff they are very excited.
