IIA Fire Department Testing, a leading company in the fire safety industry, is looking for Fire Equipment Technicians to hire full time. We provide an essential service testing fire equipment for fire departments at their locations. This is a General Labor position with no previous experience required. All training will be done on site. Required Qualifications • A Valid Social Security Number • A drivers license and reliable transportation to work • Be able to pass a drug test and background check • Hard working and very dependable Working Conditions • Work is Monday-Friday and occasionally Saturday • Typical week consists of 40+ hours (Average of 50 hours/week) • Occasional work day can be 12+ hours • Daily pick-up is 7:30 am in Eatontown, NJ or 8 am at Cheesequake Rest Stop • Shift is not over until job is completed • Occasional work trip out of state required for up to 1 week (hotel and food provided by company) • Work boots required and work shirts supplied by company. Physical Requirements • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. • Frequently required to walk and bend over. • Must be able to work outside is various conditions (light rain, heat, cold, etc.)
