Willie Itule Produce has an opportunity available for a full time REPACK team member. Work schedule: Monday- Friday 4:00 AM- 12:00 PM Essential duties and responsibilities: - Transporting product crates from the repack cooler into main inventory, and working with our repack team packaging items into smaller quantities per specifications. Maintaining food safe operations utilizing established procedures. - Moving full product crates into inventory accurately; Organizing shelf stock. - Repacking items into smaller packages per our specification and inventory par lists. - Schedule punctuality and consistency with job expectations. - Teamwork approach and effective communication with co-workers. - Ability to learn food safety rules and regulations, and apply to everyday activities consistently. Qualifications necessary to successfully perform the job: - Ability to speak and understand English. - Knowledge of basic food safety practices. - Ability to read, comprehend and perform instructional sanitation procedures. - Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. - Ability to problem solve and communicate solution to the direct supervisor. - Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs. - Ability to work in cold (33-43°F) temperatures for extended periods of time.
