i have oldish looking (faux wood) kitchen cabinets that are in good shape and a cabinet under the sink in the bathroom that i would like to put contact paper on to make them look more appealing/modern.
i bought the contact paper, scissors, exacto-knife, fan for stretching paper and a tool to get rid of air bubbles.
i tried doing it myself and though it turned out decent, i am unhappy with the way the corners look.
currently i am looking for someone who has done this before and knows what they are doing. please dont respond if you have no idea how to do it professionally or think its an easy diy. if possible, id appreciate pictures of a previous job that you have done.
i will wash all the cabinets and take the rest of them off the hinges. your job would be to cover the cabinets and re-attach (at least the top ones back on). i only need the front and the sides covered, the back of the cabinets can stay white (and of course have some of the overlapping contact paper so it sticks better). i will provide pictures of the size/amount of the cabinets (there is a picture where i measured all of them). the top of the paper would be the top cabinets and the bottom would be the bottom cabinets). please note that some of the pieces (like the ones i have in the pictures will not be able to removed). i have a small ladder if needed to help you reach them. i would be open for a quote of how much you think the job is worth.
also if the job is done to good standards, i would also like to do the countertop, splashguard and possibly some doors relatively soon so it might not be a one time job.
Please Ignore: diy, contact paper, remodel, kitchen, paint, styling, restyle, cabinets, gig, professional, self-adhesive, decorate, transfer tape.
