Maryland Wear and Carry Certification Course Maryland Wear and Carry Certification Course is a 16 hour class that focuses on state firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, basic pistol safety and training, and other gunfighting techniques. Also live fire and range time include. This certification will allow Maryland citizens to wear and carry a firearm on their person if approved by Maryland State Police. Covid 19 precautions must be limited to spots and there will be a temperature check at the door.
