Shop a curated selection of goods, all made by women in DC! (social distanced + limited entry) In correlation with our 2nd annual SHE:DC event, we are hosting a marketplace for emerging women makers at THE ROOST (1401 Penn. Ave, SE) the last weekend in March, Friday 3/26, 5-8pm and Saturday 3/27, and Sunday 3/28, from 11-5PM. This event will feature 90% women makers not already in any of our locations! This market will be curated by Shop Made in DC and will be a socially-distanced, ticketed event. All items are made locally by a woman artist/maker. Additionally, Greg Engert has curated a retail selection of beer, wine and spirits, focused on women owned companies. $10 tickets allow: +Timed access to the exclusive event +She-tail from Show of Hands to take home +Donation to the SHE DC Seed Grant +BONUS: Access to a demonstration from our resident SHE DC Chef's at the Roost. +Friday: Cook a pizza with Slice Joint Owner Rachael Marie, Saturday AM: Coffee Demonstration with Nazia Kahn, Sunday: Pastry demonstration with Chef Allie Cheppa.
