No matter what type of pet, at the end of the night, you will have a frame-worthy keepsake for your home or office wall. Once you sign up for the class, email Hazel a high-resolution digital photo no later than September 12. Uncropped, full-body shots with uncluttered backgrounds work best. This ensures your pet’s proportions are correct in the finished product. Head shots are perfect too. But remember, if the ears are cropped out of the photo, they will be cropped out of your painting. Using your photo, Hazel will print a grayscale outline of your pet onto a canvas (9” x 12”). Then she will provide you with a paint-by-number canvas and a custom paint palette for your pet’s portrait. Hazel will guide you step-by-step through the paint process and help you perfectly capture the likeness of your pet. The RSVP by date: September 12 The cost is $35.00 per person with $5.00 going to the Portsmouth SPCA for every ticket sold. Class size is limited to 10.
