Program Information Bring your brushes, canvases, and painting equipment to capture the magic of spring at this City of Louisville plein air painting event. We had to cancel our February plein air event due to extreme cold temperatures, but we're hoping the weather will cooperate with us! Please note: we are not providing any formal instruction, but this is a great way to meet other painters and share tips! Parking and Access We will park at the Daughenbaugh Parking lot and walk in to the pond. The Ranger Truck will be available to transport painting equipment, or you may bring a hand-pulled cart. No unauthorized motorized vehicles are allowed on trails. About Louisville Plein Air Painting The City of Louisville launched its plein air painting program in 2020, and we are excited to expand it this year! Our eventual plan is have events throughout the year with opportunities for painters to display their work somewhere in Louisville.
