We strive every day to pave the way for innovation in our industry and embody our core values of Quality, Safety, Integrity, Partnering, and the Pursuit of Excellence.” Job Summary: Perform a variety manual work in preparing surfaces for paving in City, County and Residential roadway projects. Job Responsiblies: · Preparation of work environment: covering utility boxes, ground pavement markings, and gutters · Assist Traffic Control with set-up and break-down on lane closures · Assist ground crew · Ride Slurry truck box for edge line application · Clean tools, equipment, Slurry truck box • Cleans up work sites at completion of jobs, staging area, loading and removing debris and coverings • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest, boots, seat belt, gloves, etc. · Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed · Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers · Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: · 6 months to 1 year working outside in all weather conditions · Driver License MVR background check · Pass pre-employment Drug test · Obtain a Medical card · Ability to drive to office location · Maintain good attendance; Full-time position with overtime and some weekend and night time work depending on job/projects requirements Work Environment and Physical Demands: · Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb all day on your feet for long periods of time · Must be able to frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds · Exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration · Exposed to a variety of extreme cold and hot weather conditions What Benefits does ViaSun Corporation have for you! • You are joining an Awesome Team with an Excellent work Environment • Health Benefits: • Medical • Vision • Dental • Life Insurance - Employee, Spouse and Child • Short-term & Long-term Disability Insurance • Legal Shield & Id Shield • Colonial Benefits – Hospital, Accidental and Critical Illness • Basic Will (100% paid with 1 year of Service) • 401K with company match • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) • Annual Bonus • Appreciation Events • Anniversary Rewards • Paid Holidays • Paid Time off (PTO) Come join our Team!
