Join Daryl Marston and Mustafa Gatollari from the television show Ghost Hunters as they investigate The Haunted Risser Hospital! Built in 1915, the Risser was home to D.W. Sweeney, the President of the Bonham Bank, and his family until his wife Katherine passed away inside the home in 1956. It was purchased in 1957 by Dr. Joe Risser converted the home into an eighteen bed hospital which ran from 1958-1971. Dr. Joe Risser was best friends with Sam Rayburn (1/6/1882-11/16/1961) and was under his care when he passed away. The Risser became well known in 1961 when Mr. Rayburn passed away in the Northeast room. Many important people attended his Bonham, TX funeral on that November day. People like, American politician and 43rd Speaker of the United States House of Representatives John F. Kennedy. Today, you can visit both the Risser Hospital (which is now a museum) and also The Sam Rayburn Library in Bonham, TX. But, the Risser Hospital does stay "quiet". The Risser is known to be notoriously haunted. People who have visited or have investigated the Risser have claimed to have many experiences. Claims of disembodied voices, phantom smell of cigar smoke, and the scent of coconut oil can be smelled in delivery room. People have also claim getting scratched, the sounds of footsteps, objects being thrown, and people experiencing dizziness. A plumber came to the Risser one day to do some work under the house. He had a conversation with someone upstairs only to find out there was no one upstairs at all! April 23rd and April 24th, you will have the opportunity to investigate this location. But, you will not be alone! Joining you on your paranormal adventure will be none other than Daryl Marston and Mustafa Gatollari from the television show Ghost Hunters! This event is a special event. Recently, the paranormal field a tremendous man, Ken Potter, and proceeds from this event will go to the Potter family.
