Looking to bring on an apprentice interested in learning the Epoxy Floor Coating business. We are a family owned company that is expanding our installation crew. This is a part-time position working about 2-3 days per week. We will pay $16 - $18 per hour for each job you accept as a 1099 worker to start. A valid CA Drivers license, Social Security card or Tax ID will be required. As business increases over the summer, there could be additional work available and possibly a permanent position long-term. Apply Here: Responsibilities include: - 6 months Construction experience is a must - Reliable and On-Time for assignments - Setup, cleaning and preparation of materials - Ability to follow directions to complete a time sensitive project - Quick learner and ability to hustle when needed - Experience with hand grinder a plus - Taping and Cut In - Prior experience with paint or epoxy is ideal but not required - Ability to lift 50 Pounds Flexible schedule - typically an 8 hour shift, 2-3 days per week Day shifts during Monday thru Friday (On call) San Jose Area, CA (Preferred) Experience - General Construction: 1 year (Preferred) Typical work time: Jobs run 8AM - 5PM roughly COVID-19 Precaution(s): - Remote interview process - Personal protective equipment provided or required - Temperature screenings - Social distancing guidelines in place - Virtual meetings - Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
