Maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, weed eating, edging turf areas, blowing off hard surfaces and landscape maintenance. Responsibilities: • Operate powered equipment, such as mowers, weed eaters, edgers, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers and chain saws. • Care for established landscapes by mowing, mulching, trimming shrubs and other grounds maintenance tasks. • Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hand pruners and hedge trimmers.
