CCAP welcomed At Daydream Childcare children learn to work together within a community through social and emotional literacy. Language development is a key focus with all ages and children learn to explore their world through conversation, sign language, and visual cues. Your 6 week to 18 month olds focus on developmental milestones using tummy time, sitting up, rolling over, crawling, and walking. They enjoy teacher interactions through conversation, stories, songs, finger plays and other developmental activities. In our toddler rooms children enjoy more fun and interactive self help activities such as painting, gluing, song, story time and other theme activities that are age appropriate for the children in the class. Older children ready to start being a big boy/girl in a classroom that is designed for self exploration while defining large motor skills. The pre-school activities start in this class with a more defined circle time, art activities, 3 step directions, potty training and all the extra fun things we offer based on the season and the age appropriateness in that class. In our PreK program we are preparing for Kindergarten with literacy, math, science, gross motor, and social/emotional. Variety in our activities allow all children to have unique learning experiences.
