STAMFORD, CT — An area resident is $25,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket this week in Stamford, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On Tuesday, Sindy Orellana of Darien won $25,000 playing a "Stacks of Cash" game. The winning ticket was purchased from Midtown News in Stamford.
