Good day everyone, I'm just opening my drum studio on Lake Boulevard and setting up my schedule for booking students for Drum-Set Lessons. Can be in 1 hour or 2 hour(preferred) blocks. Rates depend on student age, if there is a drumkit at your home to practice the things being taught, and various factors like how many lessons per month and length etc. I have about 6 students at the moment and can take about 5 to 10 more but that would max me out so please pass the word if you know someone looking for a great outlet and gain real skill on the Drums. I'm a 35 year veteran of drumming and started in the early 80's. I can teach technique, double bass, timing, dynamics, flair drumming, speed playing, paradiddles, single stick rolls, ghost-note technique, simple rock 4/4 beats to semi-technical odd time drum riffs and fills. I am primarily a progressive rock drummer and am fluent in rock, heavy rock, heavy metal, progressive metal, and I don't teach country drumming or jazz styles as I'm not interested in that type of playing. I can answer any questions you may have and I offer a free evaluation and 30 minute first-free lesson if you're interested in coming and playing on some professional gear. This is for serious students only and by appointment, I won't just let anyone off the street come and bash on my drumkits it HAS to be communicated beforehand about the commitment or needs of any aspiring drummer.
