Description

From the City of Shreveport: March 2, 2021 The City of Shreveport receives annual entitlement funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), which include the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs. A five-year Consolidated Strategy Plan must be developed before funds are released to the local jurisdiction. The jurisdiction must develop an Action Plan describing how the funds will be used each year. Any substantial changes in funding, goals or activities require a substantial amendment to the Consolidated Strategy Plan as set forth in 24 CFR Part 91. Citizens can review and provide comments on the draft substantial amendments to the FY2019 Annual Action Plan beginning, Friday, February 26, 2021 through Thursday, March 4, 2021 at www.shreveportla.gov, under the Department of Community Development.
