Day Landscaping is looking for hardworking individuals to become a part of our hardscape, lawn care, and snow removal team. We are looking for someone that wants to grow with our company and show up every day ready to go to work! Key Responsibilities: • Ability to perform heavy, manual labor tasks (Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs) • Ability to work variable and long hours during peak operation times (winter, spring, summer, fall) • Maintain company equipment in proper operating condition with actions such as, but not limited to, greasing components, checking fluid levels, sharpening/replacing trimming or mower blades • Must be able to operate mowers, small excavating equipment, various hand tools and company vehicles (training will be provided as needed) • Must be able to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner • Must follow the direction of crew leaders to carry out specific daily and weekly tasks with an attention to detail • Must show up on-time for work each day • Employees are evaluated by the quality of their work, efficiency, professional behavior, and ability to communicate with other employees, management, and customers • Typical schedule will be 8am-4:30pm or at the time of job completion if necessary, Monday thru Friday with occasional work required on the weekends (Saturday) due to weather conditions or project deadlines. • Average weekly hours worked will range roughly between 30-45 hours • Expected hours of operation may vary by season as well as due to weather conditions
