Family located in Chester Springs, PA, is looking for a compassionate and responsible Direct Support Professional to support a young lady in reaching her highest potential, while gaining new experiences, and learning new skills.. Great part-time job! Two days a week, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm. How You Can Make a Difference: Empower an individual to develop skills within a meaningful day Support personal growth Encourage independence through individual support plans Together you will find events, interesting volunteer opportunities, and outings to build connections within their community Communicate and work together with the individual and their family You Must: Be 18 years of age or older Have a current, driver’s license Possess a high school diploma or GED Have at least 1 year experience, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Submit to criminal background check Pay rate - $17 - $19 per hour, depending on experience
