2 Washington County Schools Report New Coronavirus Outbreaks

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN— Two schools in Washington County have reported new outbreaks of COVID-19, the Minnesota Department of Health reported Thursday. These schools all reported at least five cases of COVID-19: Forest Lake Area High School in Forest LakeOneka Elementary School in Hugo In order to be added to the Minnesota Department of Health's list, a school must report at least five cases of a student or staff member being inside the building while infectious and within the two-week reporting period, the department said. If a school goes 28 days with no new cases, they are removed from the list, the department said. Two other schools in Dakota County, East Lake Elementary School and Holy Trinity, were also on the list, the department said. The list is updated every Thursday, the department said.
