Adorable, adoptable cats - Orange and Timmy are waiting for a new family to love! In 2020 nine cats and a number of feral cats were rescued from a dreadful hoarding situation in Nipomo. Orange and Timmy are the last two still looking for new homes; a quiet and calm household is preferred. These two seemed to have been the most affected by the isolation and lack of socialization and their loving foster has been diligently working with them. Orange, 5-7 years old, continues to dash off to his favorite hide-a-way when new people come to visit. He has begun to trust his foster and is very snuggly and enjoys making himself at home in her lap. Sadly he has had a falling out with Timmy and prefers to be on his own; apparently he wants all the attention. Timmy, 3 years old, has taken up residency in the cat tree. He likes the vantage point where he can observe what's going on. When it suits him, he will come over and welcome a few pets; it might be a fleeting moment but it's a start. They might be a bit quirky, shy, and/or hesitate with people but that doesn't mean they can't make good companions. If you're up for a challenge and have the right attitude you can work wonders.
