DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Downers Grove has increased by 55 cases in the past week, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). This reflects a slight decrease from the previous week, which showed an increase of 56 cases. As of Feb. 23, the village had reported 3,439 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 3,494 as of March 2, reflecting a rise of 1.6 percent. The previous week, Westmont reported an increase of 14 cases. As of Feb. 23, there had been 1,808 cases reported in Westmont. The total number of cases reported in Westmont as of March 2 was 1,826, which reflects an increase of just under 1 percent.
