Press release from the City of Glendora: March 03, 2021 NOTICE: NIGHTTIME WATERLINE OPERATIONS AT THE INTERSECTION OF FOOTHILL BLVD. & GRAND AVE. MARCH 5 - APRIL 9, 2021 DOWNLOAD THE OFFICIAL NOTICE CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY As part of the 9.1-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project, crews will be working within intersection of Foothill Blvd & Grand Ave. in Glendora to perform waterline installation operations. Work will be focused on the west side of the intersection and southwest corner. Operations will occur nightly with thru traffc maintained in both directions. WHEN Friday, March 5th and continuing nightly thru April 9, 2021, Monday - Saturday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. WHERE Construction activities will take place within the intersection of Foothill Blvd. & Grand Ave. Main operations will occur on the west side of Foothill Blvd. & and the southwest corner of the intersection. TRAFFIC ADVISORIES Traffic lanes on eastbound Foothill Blvd. and soutbound Grand Ave. will be closed nightly. Thru access across the intersection will be maintained in both directions, no full street closures are expected. WHAT TO EXPECT Typical noise from construction equipment will be produced near the active work zones such as sawcutting, grading equipment, lighting equipment, and other construction vehicles. WORK ZONE The red area in the map shows the work zones, the yellow arrows shows the open traffic lanes.
