FLOAT PRODUCTION WORKER Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours *$500 sign-on bonus: $250 after first 30 days; remaining $250 after successful completion of 4 month probationary period. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: Responsible for daily production work which may vary based on daily manufacturing need. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform assigned tasks within the shop including, but not limited to, parts processing, furniture assembly, furniture priming, prep sanding, final assembly, packaging and shipping, and other duties as assigned. Operate all machinery and tools in a safe and efficient manner. Perform regular maintenance to all equipment and keep General Manager/Sr. Production Worker informed on working conditions. Assist with developing and implementing procedures to help streamline production and increase efficiency. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and clean up work station daily. Implement all safety procedures and policies daily. Immediately report all safety concerns, hazards or violations to immediate supervisor or Human Resources Director. Attend training sessions as directed. Participate in team meetings. Demonstrate open communication with other employees to ensure maximum efficiency. Assist in all areas of production as assigned. PHYSICAL WORK TOLERANCES: Ability to do standing/sedentary tasks for long periods of time. Ability to perform range of motion tasks, including but not limited to; reaching, bending, stretching, stooping and lifting.
